Mel Torme was the greatest male singer that ever lived. (I admit that I might be a little biased. I've got a picture of Mel sitting on top of my piano, a large collection of his CD's, a lucky-charm photo of the Mel in my wallet, "MEL TORME" engraved on the back of my pocket watch, and a picture of him on the wall in my living room).
It is rumored that Mr. Torme could ride a unicycle, play the piano, juggle dishes, gargle, and sing... all at the same time. But heck, don't take my word for it! Read his autobiography.
