Here are some poems I've written over the years. These poems are in their original form. They've been revised and even rewritten. I just thought I'd put the original versions here.

*Note 1: This poem was written for a girl named Jennifer M. However, I used the name Katherine because Jennifer reminds me of the woman, Katherine, in Somewhere In Time (I'm not even sure that's here name. Actually, the movie itself reminds me of Jenny). Anyway, I've never even known a Katherine. Although I do like the name. Of course, there was the cartoon Cathy... wow! What a woman.

Musical Interestsswing it, Daddy O!

This section is dedicated to my favorite musicians: Mel Torme, Bing Crosby, Glen Gould, Chet Baker, John Hartford, and Jim Morrison.

I also love swing music. So I thought I'd insert a real boss description of that crazy beat we call swing. Swing

Mel Torme - my favorite singer.

Bing Crosby - second only to Mel.

Chet Baker - almost as smooth as velvet.

Although I love to listen to Jazz, I also dig some of that Bluegrass jig stompin beat. So let's give it up for John Hartford. (I always wanted to be a steamboat captain. Steering down the river, listening to...) John Hartford
